We are the Undercoverband and we are available to perform live music for your party, corporate function, wedding or any kind of event.  We play as a cover band in and around the Cape Town South Africa area but will also try to accomodate outside functions if the budget calls for travel costs.  The band consists of myself (Linton) and Anthony and we generally play as a duo but can also combine with different musicians to make up a Trio with live drums, bass and rythm guitar.

We focus mainly on commercial and popular hits through the ages from the sixties to present day.  We have arranged our cover music (tribute) sets to be able to perform light background music as well as Rocking party music.  We like to be versatile so we can offer our product to a wider market and also to expand the variety of entertainment.  We play a large selection of Pop, Rock, Reggae and Country music and also have a Swing set to add some thing different for the right occasion.

SOLO BAND

As a Solo performer I really like and play some of the older standard music with some more modern tracks thrown in.  I play guitar and sing with  backing tracks over suitable PA system.  I can Rock it up a bit or play softer and more background music when needed.

DUO BAND

As a Duo we use pre recorded backing tracks  (No live drummer)  which gives us the ability to play a wide and diverse variety of songs and music styles  for a successfull and entertaining band.  We are comfortable playing all genres like Country, Swing, Rock reggae and pop.
Trio cover band Cape Town

TRIO BAND

The Three piece band would consist of live drums, guitarist and a bass guitarist.  There are no bakcing tracks used at this stage, its all live. The volume  from the 3 piece depends on the tolerance of neighbours or venue etc. This is a really nice real feel combo.
